Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model from the United States. Following his fame-making roles in Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow the actor was featured in over 20 feature movies like The Core. In addition, he has appeared in Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs and Lost Law & Order, and several other. Qualls was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 14, and has battled this disease since. In two years the cancer is now into remission. Treatment was carried out so quickly that it had a severe impact on the body and slowed his growth. Since he grew up in poor circumstances, he was determined to be financially secure. He commented, "I've been living so cheap for so many years that I'm in need of to have financial security, otherwise my life is going to feel chaotic for me." He also reflects on his childhood and hopes to do something about the problem of the bullying. He is a victim of cruelty and hurts him to the core. DJ's ideal role is to play a father figure in reel and in real life. He admits that Directors do not have me as a character. One day he'd like to become a father in the future, when he could have the ability to dedicate much less time and energy to his profession and more time to his son.
